COME! all ye who wrestle with the times we live in…
Join us to be stirred, shaken, engaged, listened to and more as we bring to life “12 Characters in Search of an Apocalypse” by Andrew Boyd,
published in Volume 11 of The Dark Mountain Project
Starting with the question: “Is Climate Change real?” the Characters offer their diverse complex perspectives on living today, what they see coming towards them, and what they are (or aren’t) doing about it. Using the words of the Characters as seeds for our own conversation we will have a chance to engage and explore our own complicated relationships with the questions that arise because of the unravelling of the living systems that we are living in.
We will begin promptly at 19.00 with the reading of the 12 monologues. Please arrive between 18.30 and 18.45 to get refreshments and settle. The readings take about an hour with brief interludes for discussion. Our time afterwards is for an open conversation to explore the affects these changes are having on ourselves, our families and our communities.

What to bring:
A willingness to be moved by what you hear and share your own thoughts
We started this project to cultivate conversations among neighbours about things that are often hard to begin – In the coming times, we believe we will need each other more than ever.
